In the late 1990s, the paths of two lawyers crossed at a Magic Circle law firm in Luxembourg. Their shared expertise in investment funds and regulatory matters, coupled with a family connection to French and German culture, led them to see Luxembourg as an ideal destination – a place of opportunity, cultural richness and growing international influence.

Over the years, each lawyer followed her own path, deepening her knowledge of investment funds and regulatory sectors. Their journeys eventually led them to reunite at a top-tier Luxembourg bank, where they further immersed themselves in the intricacies of investment funds. This experience added layers to their practical wisdom.

Life took its course, but the bond between them remained strong. Then, in 2019, the time was ripe to manifest their shared values and visionary outlook. Marjac Avocats was born.

Operating primarily under the slogan “The Fund Ladies”, Marjac Avocats has evolved over the years and broadened its scope beyond its roots in investment funds and regulatory law. By collaborating with independent law boutiques specialising in different areas of law, the firm is now able to offer tailor-made solutions by understanding the individual needs of each client. Marjac Avocats is a testament to partnership, vision and client-focused excellence, embodying the values that have guided the firm since its inception.
